DURING THE PILOT OVER 30,000 BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED

“I know that the children loved getting a copy of ‘Sadsville’ and they have literally talked about nothing else since. It was great that you were able to read the book to them in our special assembly….”

“Something that struck me and our staff was that you not only care about our children but you also understand the issues that they face....”

“ I think Sadsville and the whole ‘Villes’ collection of books allow children to explore problems and how to solve them (in a very fun way)….”

“There was much discussion in the classroom afterwards about tackling problems that we face and understanding that there are many different solutions to help us resolve them….”

“Thank you once again Martin – you have certainly

inspired the children and staff of Paulton Junior School”

Matt Grosvenor, Head Teacher, Paulton Junior School

PILOT PHASES 1&2 - BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET & GREATER SOMERSET LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITIES

Phase 1 took place in 2016 and saw approx 6000 free copies of Sadsville being distributed amongst primary schools in the Bath & North East Somerset Local Education Authority.

This was as a result of a concerted PR campaign within the business

community of Bath. Individuals, Councillors and local businesses each contributed approx £1500 to cover the print and production of the book - in exchange for an advert within it.

PILOT PHASE 3 - HAMPSHIRE COUNTY

Phase 3 took place in 2018 and saw approx 22,000 free copies of Sadsville being distributed amongst primary schools in Hampshire county.
